Rawns Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 So has anyone given the new L4D2 content a good bashing? The campaign is OK but as the 3d level is basically the same as the last level in the "The Passing" campaign, you only really get two new levels. I've found "No Mercy" a lot more fun then the new campaign! Especially in Versus mode! It would be nice if they Ported all the levels from L4D over to L4D2, but I doubt they will.
Pottsey Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 Not really tried it yet, more a of Killing Floor fan myself and it just got new maps. I keep meaning to complete L4D.
Little-Miss Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 I've only had chance to play through "The Sacrafice" once. You might have already guessed but its explaining what happened to Bill before you meet the first surivors on the bridge, but i do see what you're saying that you only get 2 new levels. Haven't had chance to play "No Mercy" yet, will try and sit down and play that tonight. Theres a lot of people still playing L4D, it caused a bit of an uproar when they made L4D2 as people were worried it would be forgotten about. Left 4 Dead 2 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Chris_Jones Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 New content is pretty good, but I think it was only meant to be in L4D, and the port happened late in the process - since there are no new lines from the survivors about the new items. Still lots of fun in versus, but it leaves something lacking in campaign. Also really enjoying the new mutation TAAAAAAANK!! if you havent tried it yet get a few games in before it disappears on friday.
apoth0r Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 I bought L4D2 on steam last year at christmas and honestly, I haven't even downloaded it and played it. I think i need to sort that out tonight! Thanks for the reminder
