Anyone installed xibo on ubuntu?

I am planning to install xibo digital signage on ubuntu machine. can i connect clients running ubuntu to the server? and how?

No, there is no current (and working) *nix client.

but i believe its something they are trying create just might take some time - for the client you need a windows machine but the server can be *nix
