thanks for the reply say if i get this Brother HL-4040CN Colour Laser Printer - Misco.co.uk= would it be able to connect the memory card reader? because teachers would not allow students to print from usb. :S

Anyone know any good network printer which has a memory card slot built in? it is going to be used to print photos directly from memory SD card. Would appreciate any replies. thanks

Thanks guys for getting back to me, and yes the computer has not been unsupervised however different teachers use it for watching DVD.

i havent check that yet. but surely if the ribbon was not connected properly then the drive would have no power! isnt it?

tried it already. still doesnt work. rejoined back and restarted the system many times.

The computer is currently connected to the network physicaly (cable) and when it asks to enter the username and password it rejects saying the domain is not available , which in reality the domain is working fine. if i log in on a computer next to it then it logs fine. it is just that computer.... any suggestions???

I am recently looking at different game consoles. The new Xbox 360 or PS3 slim version. which one is better in image and sound quality? can someone suggest and provide specification of both of them, because it can be possible that iv missed to check all specs. thanks

My DVD drive ejects the tray when restarting and shutting down the computer. any suggestions what the problem would be? I had a look at the Device manager to see if the dvd rom driver was missing but no.. everything is fine on Device manager.

Is there any good website which would allow me choose best cable management for my networking cables. In our library, computer towers (under the tables) cables are not hanged as usual. any suggestions on cable racks or wall trunkers or any other possible way????

I have tried to create restore discs for the sony netbook (SONY VPCM11M1E/B BLACK) but because it hasnt got the disc drive, I am unsure what steps to take in order to restore on a particular external hard drive. can someone provide some basic steps???
