We need a fax machine as current one was installed c1850 and uses quill pens - it also keeps jamming.

We don't want to put it on the network, it doesn't need flashy features and it is unlikely to be used more than once a day.

It does need to be reliable, allow for multi sheet input feed, print to ordinary A4 and... cost less than £100 inc VAT (preferably much less!)

Any suggestions please?

I avoid canon ones after the last couple I've had they were a royal pain in the bottom. I've had good results with Brother machines though which are good kit and they had a good range last time I looked :) (saying that I use a HP one at work that I got from John Grahams piles of goodies in his unit!)

I wouldn't recommend the Brother T106, they are awful to be honest, you are better off spending a little more and buying a Brother Laserjet fax, they are much more robust and will last for years.
