We have some issues with Fronter and their support are working through them for us. However, they've advised us to push an export from SIMS to their server, which I simply do not know how to do.

So, any clues as to how I force an update from SIMS.net to Fronter? I can ask their support team, but it usually takes 24 hours for them to get back to me, and I don't want to have to wait for that.

Ok, after suddenly remembering how to do this, I thought I'd update just in case someone else stumbles upon it.

For us, there is a scheduled task which runs a command against a tool called 'vleexport.exe' stored in the binn directory of MSSQL.

you can check if you data export has been successful by logging into SIMS choosing routines----Data Out Vle then click the log link.

When this opens choose search and it will give you a list of failures or success by way of date with a red cross if unsuccessful and a green tick i would assume if export was successful (we have not had a green tick yet as we are having issues with data).Choose the relevant date and it will open the log file there will be an error message if you scroll down further (if unsuccessful).
