An opportunity has arisen for the right person to join a small and friendly Educational/Business IT Support company in the North West of England.

 

This is a full-time position attracting a salary of £19k + expenses for the right person. The successful applicant will have experience in several of the following areas; Windows 2003/2008, Netgear wired & wireless networking, Windows XP/Vista/7 desktop support and primary curriculum software.

 

The successful application will need his/her own transport and will be required to hold a CRB Enhanced Disclosure.

Quite a few people seemed to have viewed this, but not had much follow up, no one interested?

 

Is it perhaps the word ‘business’ in the job title/description that is putting people off?

You know wha is shocking, The guys email is there, yet the idea to go on there website has not entered peoples minds.

Okay, being a bit more specific, it is Lancaster, Morecambe, Heysham, Lune Valley, Preston & Fleetwood

I live in Blackpool around the Fleetwood area, what will this role actually be?

 

A case of a school has a problem we drive out and fix it? Like a managed service?

 

or do you have remote connections to all your managed schools and remote in to fix the problems etc?

 

I have worked in schools for 5 years now, but I'm only 21 so always puts me off applying for these kind of jobs outside of the immediate school environment.

 

The mention of expenses I guess is fuel to and from the locations above?
