sippo Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 I have a couple of XP Sp2 PC's looking for the Smart Tech SC7 v7.23 driver. I have tried a reinstall of Smart 10.6 but had no luck. Does anyone know where I can find the driver? I've tried everything on the Smart website but still doesn't work. Thanks!
MYK-IT Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 I assume that the SMART Tech SC7 v7.23 driver appears because the computer is connected to the SMART Board via a serial cable (and not USB) When prompted for the driver, manual choose / browse for the driver located within: C:\Program Files\SMART Technologies\SMART Product Drivers\PNP Drivers After lnstalling and rebooting, you may get another driver prompt to finish the installation, simple point to the same folder location. 3
sippo Posted September 14, 2010 Author Posted September 14, 2010 Thanks I tried that twice today already, having just tried it again it worked! Strange....
catlourick Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 I have a smartboard/serial cable hookup and a document camera, avervision 130. Since upgrading to Windows 7, the drivers won't load for the doc camera. pointed it to the CD and copy of file on server but still won't take drivers. i'm assuming i need updated drivers? when i go into the smartboard in device manager, it also needs serial drivers. Does anyone know of updated drivers?
banannie Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 Thank you for this - worked first time and saved a lot of headaches. ------ I assume that the SMART Tech SC7 v7.23 driver appears because the computer is connected to the SMART Board via a serial cable (and not USB) When prompted for the driver, manual choose / browse for the driver located within: C:\Program Files\SMART Technologies\SMART Product Drivers\PNP Drivers After lnstalling and rebooting, you may get another driver prompt to finish the installation, simple point to the same folder location.
