beeswax Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 had a presentation by this company of their Scholaris 2007 Learning Gateway. I was impressed. Has anybody else had a visit from these people? I know they were at BETT.
NewOrder Posted March 17, 2007 Posted March 17, 2007 I don't know how true this is but the guy that founded the company now works for microsoft. I also heard that they had something worth looking at
eejit Posted July 4, 2007 Posted July 4, 2007 Any other feedback you can give beeswax? Have you had trials of other products and if so, how did they compare?
beeswax Posted July 4, 2007 Author Posted July 4, 2007 Their rep is currently in the country for a fortnight, enjoying the lovely weather (they're an Australian company). If you pm me I can send you contact details. Of all the products shown to the various schools in our LEA, it's the one all could agree on which came closest to matching their needs. He came up to our school just after BETT this year and came in for a second much longer demo in May (I think it was). It's basically a package that sits on top of Sharepoint and provides a whole host of functionality from parental access right down to the granular level of one-to-one, teacher-pupil ratio. I could go on, but it's probably better to do it in a pm. HTH
Guest whitfieldr Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 Just had an online conference and demo of scholaris 2007. Looks very impressive from a techie point of view and integrates with most MIS software. Have to see what the staff think but all the course production is done by wizards and you can create basic scorm media within the package....£4 per FTE user in the UK

Does anyone recommend Ergo as a supplier for infrastructure work?
