Off Site Laptops

Hey guys,

 

Can someone suggest a solution to my problem. I have 30 laptops that are used off site, currently setup as standalone machines, problem is staff and students using these devices must save there data to a memory stick and copy it to a computer when they are back at the main site and they can not access there documents remotely.

 

Is there any way of syncing there data and documents to the local laptops?

We have them setup on the domain. We ask the pupil or staff member to logon once before taking the netbook/laptop off site. Their profile and logon is cached so they can logon when away from the domain. We also have file sync activated on their my docs folder so all their usere area is available offline. This worked well on XP although file sync was a bit troublesome but ok. On win7 it works like a dream.
