add ip's allowed to route through vlan

Hey people,

 

Need some help!

 

We have 2 vlans , admin and curric.

 

However there was a DHCP reservation list setup so that people could access BOTH vlans.

 

These people get an address anywher between 10.249.42.1 and 10.249.43.254

 

The reservation list is now full and we need to add more ip's to it, we have the subnet to add more ip's. but in practice it doesnt route ( for exmaple i give a reservation of 10.249.43.1 it will ping circ but not admin)

 

I am guessing the core switch needs some sort of command line putting in to allow this, its a HP5406zl or j8697a, but cannot find these anywhere in the web based interface.

 

or do all swicthes need modifying for this change? or just the corse switch ( default gateway)

Have you checked your ACL's yet and made sure the IP's are allowed access to both VLAN's?
