Exchange 2010 Recovering deleted messages

I had my phone set to sync with my exchange, and it decided to delete every email from before 11th august. (back till about may) Theyve not gone into the deleted items on my exchange account, and I dont have any backup software running on the exchange server, is there anything built in to exchange to recover deleted messages?

 

(this is just my testbed exchange install with only my 1 mailbox, but still, I guess I either shouldbt be using it for my main mail, or I should have installed some backup on it )

login via web app.

 

right click on deleted items.

 

choose recover deleted items.

 

select the mails you want and recover.

It appears they were all deleted on Friday 20th at 12:14am ... wierd.. if it had been Saturday at 12:14am i might have been able to blame user+beer error...
