HMCTech Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 (edited) We created our new year group of users in Active Directory, and the way we make the mailbox is to just go to new mailbox - existing users - highlight all new ones and set database. But in Exchange 2010 it is not setting their username as the alias automatically. Just wondering if theres a setting somewhere I missed? Just noticed that when creating multiple users it is using the full name as the alias rather than the username Edited August 12, 2010 by HMCTech
john Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 Welcome to the world of Exchange 2010 You can use powershell to en-mass change the alias's, and there is a script on here that can also do it that was posted the other day. So it can be changed but unfortunately its another Ex2010 annoyance
