software for dealing with fees

Hi All

 

I'm involved in a yout club that has about 200 kids.

 

We charge them a very nominal monthly fee but it's getting difficult to manage who has paid, who hasn't paid etc.

 

What we want is some software that we can put all the details of the kids in, which group they are in, and easily enter in when they pay. It should also provide us reports on who hasn't paid their monthly fee.

 

How would you suggest we do this?

 

I've tried googling for suitable software but I don't think I'm using the right search terms!

Surely it would be fairly easy to build something simple in Access, or even Excel to achieve this?
