Yeah I saw an article about this a while back. apparently its because you handle the phone all the time and many people (blokes especially) keep the phone in a nice warm pocket next to their crotch. An ideal breeding zone for life forms of many kinds I imagine!

You should worry about someone throwing their phone at you because they seem to be getting bigger and bigger have you seen the HD2? or dell streak they are massive

Very true, I have one, but the huge glossy screen does at least compel me to clean it on a regular basis to keep it looking shiny!
