From RM printer credits to pCounter

Hi there, was just wondering if anyone has an RM network and has successfully migrated to pcounter.

 

I have seen screenshots and it looks more complex than the RM printer credit system.

 

My questions are : Will it import existing printer credit data and was there any issues with the install etc..?

It certainly is a lot more complex than the RM Printer credit system, but it does a load of additional features. I don't think you will be able to transfer across printer credit data - it would be advisable to start a clean slate for all users.

I believe RM have some documentation on setting up PCounter - might be worth a search on their Knowledge Base. We use it on our CC4 network, and would never go back to print credits.

Thanks guys, as for not importing the data in from the RM credit system, thats a job best left to end of term as no credits are carried over lol. @Clareq thanks will check out the knowledge base sometime today.

Where are the RM credits held? If it is in AD and can be exported then it could be imported :-)
