yep... but once you get past all the standard network design doc is quite interesting...

 

point of them saying schools should only have wired networks as main network and wireless is an add on to the network.

I think lot of time schools are but like most things can you prove you are and also means we are going to have to seriously look at teacher desktop for sims if they want 24/7 access for admin data.

Makes very interesting reading :)

 

 

I suspect that there is going to be lots of tech staff around country doing a laymans version of what they have and what they need to do when it goes out of draft.

 

we have made decsion to start to look at it now mainly for two reasons one to be ahead of game and also here ict is at turning point and what we do now is going to effect ict for next 3 odd years..

 

also we are due to be uoted for build and we can use this standards to implement ict side of build..
