NEC replacement

Hello,

 

We are looking to replace our old NEC VT59 projectors and before i place the order for a NEC NP305-edu

 

i was wondering is this a like for like replacement, ie will i need to modify the bracket at all?

We have a few NP300 (which I think are virtualy identical to the NP305), they drop straight in. Same size, same throw.

 

The only different is the serial connector and serial command set. Since we use AMX control panels this has meant they've needed reprogramming.

These do have the same throw distance so you will be ok. The only slight differenc is if it is going in a custom cradle. Any further help ping me an email.
