No I don't believe that a software fix will resolve the issue and even without the cover for the iphone 4 I only managed to do it once ref losing signal, got the cover just in case though and call me what you ilke ref apple fan boy etc I still prefer apple over android with the built in memory as apposed to sd cards etc

I like a phone that I can actually make calls on! And ideally doesn't need updates every 5 days

Apple seem to be right up themselves about this problem!! As of the amount of respect customers used to give apple about the fancy new toys they introduced, I feel apple have got so far up their own arse - they don't want to admit in clear writing that they have cocked up basically. Surely they would make it easier for iphone4 customers to get the new fix case, as customers have to go out and get one at the moment as apposed to apple saying there's a form you can fill out on our website and we will post you one. I am not impressed at all!!! The apple iphone 3GS and 3G I think are amazing to use and If i were to go back to an iphone from my disappointing HTC, i would pay less and get a 3GS.

I have had the 3G, 3GS and now iphone 4 - I downloaded the case app and on there it said 4 to 8 weeks for the case I chose, get the confirmation email and it states that I won't get the case until aprox the 6th to the 8th of october, this was a week ago when I applied using the case app.

 

Let's see, a week ago gives me just over a week to the end of July, August is aprox 4 weeks and september is aprox 4 weeks

 

Add that up ( not exactly ) but that gives me about 9 weeks and october 6th is about 10 weeks away from when I applied for the case.
