CPP Phonesafe is the company that is used for mobile phone insurance through the Natwest Advantage Gold package you can get if you have a current account with Natwest. My brand new iPhone 3GS 16GB got stolen in broad daylight from me after owning the beauty for 2 weeks, and when I put a claim in - it got declined as the phone wasn't registered for 21 days before the claim. But I didn't get told instantly, I waited three weeks to be told this after spending an hour filling out the claims form, and an hour talking to an 0845 number on my partners mobile which probably cost a billion quid. Has anybody heard of this scandalous bunch of tripe or can anybody give me any suggestions as to what I can do?? I don't feel I have given up, I just need suggestions!!

By the way, I did mean to put in the title "CPP - anybody heard of or used them?", I am quite confident that all edugeek members have heard of iPhones.

I was told this when I got my Desire (as they were trying to sell their insurance and I told them I had it with a bank)

Also, a friend of ours wouldn't let their son takes his out of the house for a month until their bank insurance had kicked in.

I'm with LloydsTSB and they have a 15 day period before it activates :(

:(

I have advantage gold too and was informed about the 21 day period before making a claim when I took it out. I benefit a lot from the features of advantage gold and it saves a small fortune to what it actually costs a month
