pooley Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 I have just been asked by a Primary school teacher if we can ditch Granada Toolkit (YIPPEEE) But.... They want year 3/4 to have a visually different Word package to the 5/6 year. i.e. 5/6 to have full toolbars and icons and 3/4 to only have the std icons, cut / paste etc. Office is pushed out via gpo (win2000 server) Desktops are XP Each yeargroup has its own login. Anyone give me any pointers ? thanks
Lord_Edam Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 you'd need to push a normal.dot file to each logon's profile configured to show the toolbars you want if each yeargroup has a single username that should be quite easy through logon scripts (and it also means if anyone changes the toolbar layouts it gets reset next time they reset the PC)
pooley Posted December 13, 2006 Author Posted December 13, 2006 So simple - hadnt thought of that Cheers
