[ms office - 2003] Word Clip Art - Clip art appears on screen but doesn't appear when printed!

Hi there,

 

A few months ago, 2 computers in our ICT suite had this issue. This issue is where a student or teacher inserts a clip art picture into a word document and then goes to print the document. The document prints, but the clip art pictures are not there. However we recently reinstalled the OS on all our ICT computers and now the same problem is happening to them all causing a lot of issues!

 

I have tried to figure out any possible reason for this but with no luck, has anyone experienced this before and can help, or know what things I could try?

 

Extra info: We're running XP Pro SP3, and Office 2003 which is deployed over the network (but it would be weird if the network part is the issue as it's installed on every other computer in the school and working fine on them.

we had a similar problem with random pictures not printing. It turned out that .wmf files from clipart wouldnt print. If they were included in a document, other images wouldnt print.

 

solution: the teacher tried to avoid using .wmf files. Thats as far as it got as we're upgrading to office 2010 in the summer and we'll see if it's still an issue then.
