Went to see Frankie Boyle at the Hammersmith Apollo on Saturday and if you had seen his first DVD he always chats to the front row crowd in a brutal fashion. His first victim was a school IT support worker - was it you?

The performance I was at was filmed for his next DVD and will be released at Christmas. Lets just stay he didn't take no prisoners lol.

I was the same, these tickets were a birthday present from the wife and showed me that we were in row "D" which was potentionally sitting in the firing line so wasn't to eager to go. Then on arrival it was row "D" up in the circle so large sighs of relief all round.

A long time a go I went to see Lenny Henry at the Arts Centre at Warwick Uni (late 1980s)and we ended up in the front row. I got the pi$$ taken out of me rotten by the great man. It was embarassing but very funny and he wasn't nasty about it. It was just a big wind-up.

My wife and I went to see Ed Byrne for our first wedding anniversary, as part of his routine he talks about being married for 7 months and asked the audience of about two thousand people if anyone had been married in the last twelve months. Thinking that we would be among many others we cheered raucously, only to realise that we were the only ones ... we did end up have a very nice chat with him as a result. He did seem bemused that we come to see a comedian for a wedding anniversary but the conversation tha followed was brilliant.
