Uk is the complete opposite, requiring a passpoert to travel just from Scotland to England, and I guess Manchester to London! Mcshammer_dj Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 you shouldn't need a passport as such. What you actually need is an approved for of Id that includes a photograph. Whilst this is a bit ridiculous as travelling by Train you don't need to have the same id. Worth noting that nowerdays you often need a photographic form of ID to get into nightclubs etc

Fair point, But with all the terrorist activity going on surely it would be food to check all the passengers who they say they are. As a fellow passenger, you wouldn't be happy if a known terrorist is on the flight and simply got on by using a different name. It takes seconds per passenger to check ID.

They dont let known terrorists into the country in the first place. I can see your point though. But I guess until something does happen they wont change anything. You can freely carry on liquids and stuff through security and onto the plane here too no worries.

Maybe some do but our one doesnt. I have never and will never take ID with me to "prove" who i am. I know who i am, and if you dont like it then you dont get my business.
