pwds Posted May 25, 2010 Posted May 25, 2010 Most of us will probably (if briefly) have spotted the Homage to Pac-Man on the Google home page at the end of last week. You may not be aware (I wasn't until I read a PC Pro blog post) that it is still playable at Google Great for a few minutes relaxation at lunch time, but perhaps one to be aware of for the block list in ICT lessons. 1
john Posted May 25, 2010 Posted May 25, 2010 I hope the amazing Nile at Smoothwall see's that and adds it to games......
tom_newton Posted May 25, 2010 Posted May 25, 2010 @john - I think he did... will have to check "other ways of accessing it" tho 1
Arthur Posted May 25, 2010 Posted May 25, 2010 I bet a few already have copies of the game on their memory sticks by now... http://mashable.com/2010/05/23/download-google-pacman/
john Posted May 25, 2010 Posted May 25, 2010 @john - I think he did... will have to check "other ways of accessing it" tho I thought the team would have been on to it BTW I haven't heard anything more from our lot on the publications act issue Tom so Nile got that one sorted as well Give that man a pay rise (so long as my renewals don't go up to fund it!)
RabbieBurns Posted May 25, 2010 Posted May 25, 2010 (edited) That game cost $120 million in lost man-hours according to some research I read last night http://gizmodo.com/5546781/google-pac+man-mightve-cost-us-120483800 Edited May 25, 2010 by RabbieBurns added source
