HP laserjet 1200 + windows 7

Having some really annoying issues with this model of printer, it seems in order to print more than one copy of any document i have to turn off "job storage" and "mopier mode" settings, setting those to disabled allows the documents to print multiple copies...

 

but (theres always a but), printing documents seems to have a long delay in printing, anything over about 2-3mb takes an age, anything too large like 14mb gets "error printing" then prints about 2/3rds of the document on one sheet and the final 3rd on a different sheet - i've tried this using both the USB and parallel cables, i've also tried this using both the PCL5 and PCL6 driver but no joy!

 

Anyone have any suggestions? I suspect a couple of other models of HP may get this same issue, im yet to be able to test the 1020, 1022, 1300, 2600s (i think that's all the models of HP printers we have, luckily only 1 2600s - i hate that piece of junk)

Just to bumpski this:

 

I've half resolved this issue, changing graphics to print as a raster rather than a vector made it printable, although it takes about 10-20seconds to actually start printing it's an improvement! turning the dpi down from 600 to 300 chops this down to 5 seconds wait which is acceptable

 

Now for the last issue im having with these:

Printing from within internet explorer gives me a blank page, the link to the page it's printing on the bottom of the page goes somewhere that doesn't exist - C:\Users\*username*\appdata\local\temp\low\2\*lotsofletters*.htm, it exists up to the "low" folder which doesnt exist!!

 

If i right click on a link in IE and say "print target" that works, if i send it to microsoft onenote that works, but just clicking print in IE (or print preview) gives me a blank page, any ideas?
