ICT Techncian Job Spec

Hi.

 

I have just been asked by the business manager to bring a it technician job spec on monday.

 

Now, I have been told time and time again that we have no money for a it tech...so i'm thinking one of 2 possibilities.

 

1. She has been asked by another school for a copy of a it technician job spec as they are looking for one.

 

2. They are thinking that I should only really be a it technician (although we have had our job re-evaluated internally and I managed to re-write my own job spec to become a IT Manager).

 

 

or 3, they have money somewhere for a it technician for me

 

 

Does anyone have a it technician job spec they could email me?

Surely if your the person who is going to be above them - you would know how to do a spec? Or you know what the person would be doing and what skills they need?

Why not just use the Becta job tech creator and then modify it? That's what we do
