Has anyone seen these yet? Seems like a good idea, connect the device to the net, plug in a USB HDD and access your files anywhere. I'm just wondering if it'll work off the private IP I have in the office here?

Not if you're behind a NAT router, no.

Apparently so. It shows in the setup instructions that you plug it into your home\office router.

@DB: You don't need one! I know it's pink and you must buy all the pink things you find but the hardware that is already sat in your office will easily perform this function already!
