Yeah I got the same message creese, however it should be quicker. It just says within 3 days to allow for contingency.

 

Fingers crossed. I used to work with AutoCad and it would help me with rearranging my flat.

Can anyone provide an alternative download link for a Maya 2011 trial. I want a play with it but it won't download here from the AutoDesk site..... =(

I had trouble downloading the files using their installer last night but they also give links to download the files via your browser.

I tried that. The external mirror just goes off to the Autodesk site, and the 11 zip archive download didn't work for me. I downloaded them all but couldn't get them to extract.

Tried RAR, 7Zip, and Winzip. Also tried cmd with copy /B file.zip.001 + file.zip.002 etc file.zip and then opening file.zip but that didn't work either.

If they are parted rar/zip files you need to open the first one (00 or 01 depending on what made it, sometimes no number) and tell that to extract normally and it should do it automagically for you.

I can open the first one with 7-Zip

I opened the first one with WinRAR and I got the error 'unexpected end of archive'

Showed the link to the ICT coordinator, who managed to register (awaiting activation)

 

And now, whenever I goto the site it complains i need to enable cookies.

 

I suspect there is a problem either with their site, or my ISP blocking things though, as it told me that on 3 different PC's, with both firefox, and IE 7 and 8, and even says it now on the PC that registered half an hour ago!

I had a problem last night with cookies in Chrome but the moment I switched to Opera it was fine.

Just downloaded the files again, joined them using the copy /B command again, and it seems to have worked this time. Must have had a corrupt file or something the first time.

Does the Maya version on offer watermark single frame renders? I was considering doing a fancy background with some concept art and blinging out our logo in 3D to go over it
