aneena Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 Hi All, I am new to sims One of the user was getting file not recognised while importing a ctf file in cencus. please advice me
creese Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 The only thing I can think of is that the file is corrupted. Can you open it?
creese Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 I have had occasions when a file, in the process of downloading has put an extra, unseen extension at the end i.e. 11111.xml.zip . With a bit of fiddling you can rename it. Apart from that I can't think of anything else.
saundersmatt Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 We had this exact same problem yesterday. (It made me feel as though I was going insane) Having contacted the support desk we were told that there were known issues with some ctf files. I would contact your support provider. Matt
aneena Posted May 14, 2010 Author Posted May 14, 2010 Thanks I contacted them and that's under process. Any solutions provided to you so far by them
garrysaddington Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 I know this is not ideal, but you could get the sample CTF file from Teachernet: Teachernet, CTF9 and compare the file you have to it and amend the said file if it's structure or in particular the headers are wrong. A fudge, I know but may get you through while waiting for a formal solution.
