Hi Gang,

Simple question -- SSL Gateway, as in, a single server/device that I can drop an SSL Wildcard Cert on and have it provide https:// for any number of internal websites which can be located on different hardware.

How to do this, without ISA? And apparently current front end f/w doest support this either.

Can anyone give hints, tips, assistance how ... do you do it?

Cheers

Thanks for the help guys.

I'd do it with Apache as a reverse proxy, but that's mostly just preference.

Thanks powdarrmonkey -- ive never utilised a reverse proxy before. Could this reverse proxy do host-header redirection as well as the wildcard ssl placment? Thanks again!

There's also Apsis Gmbh - this may be easier to set up than apache.

There's another good 'un that RobF has actually managed to bodge onto a smoothie, but he's not in yet, if this thread gets bumped I may remember to ask him!

  • Thanks 1
