Yeah, Adobe Direct do the Master Suite with about 80% off for Teachers and Students .. so about £560 instead of the £2700 .. I thought it'd be rude not to take advantage of working in a school on this occasion .. lol ..

i only like the idea of the ipad if it has the ability to remote desktop out to my windows 7 machine, essentially it will just be a windows 7 slate then.

 

I did like the look of the HP slate as well but it look destined to suck!

Loving my Mighty Mouse too ... got it a few days after they came out as we were in the MK Apple Store and I showed my wife the video for using it ... she went and got one off the shelf for me and I haven't looked back since.

 

The only time I do swap it for a regular mouse is at work (MS Wireless keyboard & mouse) so it doesn't go walkies and when playing WoW at home ... just can't quite get the multi-touch gestures right for some of the actions.

Now, just been on the Apple Site and noticed the iPad is on Pre-Order. Place your bets, would my wife kill me if I did .. hmmm .. lol .. (Mind you, I'm still after the Canon 5D so an iPad too would be pushing it perhaps, until I have at least the Mac Mini Server to power the house! lol ..)

I currently work across 2 sites, so this way I'm guaranteed that I leave work, go home via the parents and have my Mac, where as delivered to work could mean waiting until tomorrow to play with it! lol ..

It's lovely and shiny AND bonus, CS5 Master Suite is with me 2 weeks earlier than I was expecting it to be! Go Adobe! Whoop! (I say with me, with a neighbour actually, but I'll get it when I get back, or maybe over lunch! lol).

 

Been using my old MacBook along side for transfer purposes and, how dull are the old screens?! lol ..

 

Right back to "work" .. lol ..
