Windows 7 for 800mhz Processor

Hi,

 

Is there a version of Windows 7 that will run on a netbook with a 800mhz Processor? Looking at the net it looks like it will need to be 1ghz.

I suppose it'll boil down to two questions - how much ram? and what typ of 800mhz processor (cache size, HT, etc)?

 

I'm guessing with enough RAM and the right processor it'll run fine. Might have to turn of Aero, but hey-oh better than nothing!

I will check what CPU it is.

 

Its got 1GB ram. Wont want Aero, will be using the Windows classic theme anyway. I don't like the Aero theme.

I managed to get the RC running pretty smoothly on a Samsung Q1, 800MHz and 1GB RAM if I remember right.
