PhilH Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 We are now fully zimbra, things are not too bad, except we have zimbra shutting down IE when trying to go in via advanced mode. This is random, random people and random machines. Go in via standard and alls fine......Any ideas any one:lie:
PhilH Posted April 28, 2010 Author Posted April 28, 2010 Advanced is Ajax so could be a few things, what version of IE is it? Both IE 7 & 8. It works ok in FireFox though.
CHR1S Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 Im afraid im stumped, is it putting anything in event viewer? I will ask a mod to split this into its own group so you get more responses.
webman Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 We've had DEP interfere with IE and Zimbra before - perhaps this is one avenue you could investigate? To turn off in IE: Click on Tools, Internet Options, then the Advanced tab. Scroll down to Security and uncheck "Enable memory protection to help mitigate online attacks".
PhilH Posted April 30, 2010 Author Posted April 30, 2010 The DEP option didnt work, but we may have cracked it. It seems that by adding http://mail.myvle.org/ as a trusted site corrects the problem. Have not had time to fully test it due to teacher training day, but i will see what happens next week.
