Moodle Login Problems

Hi all,

 

Bit of a problem here with students logging into Moodle.

 

We've had a proxy server go in, and all seems to be set up correctly. However, the problem is that when students go to the main login page, as soon as they've put their details in, the browser closes down.

 

We've gone through all the proxy settings, group policy and browser settings, but as this is only happening intermittently, it's getting us a bit upset!!

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

This is through IE8.

 

I've already done some testing to make sure it's not the proxy server, and am now going over Group Policy...............AGAIN!!!!!

Ok, so it looks like we've solved the issue!

 

I checked the browser settings.....Internet options > Security > Local Intranet > Sites > Advanced. The site needed to be in there for it to go through properly.

 

Once the wildcard for the domain was in place, no problems.....At least, not for now!!!
