No - not so far as I have found yet.

In Ver 10 you can set up a theme, so that once you have changed page 1, all subsequent pages have the same settings. (background colour, font settings, logos in the corner etc).

You still start with a blank white page, but it only takes seconds to do.

I think it would be a good idea if you could change the default colour instead of smart assuming that you want white (I know its a "Whiteboard"!), but a lot of the schools that I support technically want a light blue colour, as apparently it helps dyslexic students to see the letters in words in the correct layout, or something like that (I was too busy think about the how rather than the why).

Perhaps smarttech could add this too thier list, I'm sure it wouldn't take them too long to do.

Setting the background default can't be changed at the moment to my knowledge. However if you "right click" on the background you can select "Change colour" and select it there.

It's not exactly what you're looking for but it's quicker than trawling through settings.

Hi there,

I have recently found this out...If you want it default for all pages then go to edit, click on preferences, then the default tab and change the colour.

It will the be set to that colour every time you click new page!

Major thread resurrection but anyone ever figure out how to do this Via GPO and regedit. I want to set this for our special needs school and to save me trawling the registry it would be helpful.
