Ok

so right now i have a LG bl40 (not so great, touch screen sucks. doesnt support google as good, etc(alot of issues) so i am looking to upgrade it.

I am looking for a nice phone with little lag. it would be nice to have a removable battery, as those seem to be the 1st thing to go. but you can always take the iphone apart to replace the battery..

i love the qwerty touch keyboard. and i love being able to turn the phone to make it wide screen whenever you want it to(can't do that with the bl40)

battery life is a nice thing to have also, what is the point of a phone if there is no battery life..

what do you guys think i should go for? with little lag, pretty fast processor

thanks

well i am with telus, so i am limited to what they have to offer, and i dont want to go unlocking phones.

the hero has an update coming out this month also..

ahhh, no that explains a few things.

Telus should allow you to purchase a phone through them (even if they dont offer it) and they will unlock it for you as part of your contract. I just asked a member of staff here who is from canada, she did that herself.

i already did my contract last week, but i have 14days to return the phone; so i was just going to exchange it for a phone they offered asap in the store; iphone, milestone, hero.

i just want a phone that is better then the bl40. (faster, no lag, battery life)

iphone - well only use 1 app at a time, buggy as hell, doesnt support flash, expensive apps (although admittedly some are good).

Milestone - never one for motorola's myself, most recent firmware update is crap and people lost alot of the wireless power.

Hero - very good, solidly built, HTC are reliable!

wireless power? what is your meaning behind this?

didnt HTC have troubles in the past with their phones? i heard that from my telus dealer, but they say the new ones seem to be fine now

alright

i have done research on the phones.

seems that the hero can be slow at times, seems that the iphone is the fastest for surfing the net.

But i have my laptop and take it everywhere.. so for the one time i dont have my laptop i think i can live with the hero being a little slow on the net at times..

besides its a phone you cant expect it to be as fast as a laptop.

thanks alot
