mattx Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 He's clearly an expert......... What does the IP in ‘IP address’ stand for? Ask Stephen Timms | BitterWallet
Guest TheLibrarian Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 I'm lost for words, or at least ones that I'd use on EduGeek anyway - I agree with the part of the article written in French.
Pete10141748 Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 The letter is stamped "32nd February" then re-stamped "23rd February" *hangs heads and weeps for our future*
tsky Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 Hey this is good news.... first prosecution in court: Defence: "m-lud, this case has no bearing as the information was collected illegally" Prosecution: "it was done in the confines of the law" Defence: "the law states that the information to be collected is the intellectual property address, which, technically is my client's publishing house. It does not allow for collection of Internet Protocol Address, thus pinpointing my client's computer system" Prosection : "feck." 4
Arcath Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 im sure you could get away with it by saying "My network runs on MAC addresses not IP"

dayzd Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 I agree with the part of the article written in French. Ditto. The letter is stamped "32nd February" then re-stamped "23rd February" *hangs heads and weeps for our future* And again: Ditto... Did anyone else follow people's Twittering ( Twitter ) and see that by the end of the session looking into this bill, there were only about 10 MPs still there (there were only about 30 to start with)?!
tech_guy Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 Yes I followed #debill on Twitter and added a few choice comments of my own....
