[closed] bug/error: Avatar not displaying correctly

As requested by ZH. My avatar displays incorrectly in the box top right of screen... it's stretched vertically. The jpeg is not square, it's a landscape rectangle.

 

Now if someone can tell me how to upload the screenshot, I'll do it

 

1. Click on Manage Attachments

2. Click on Add Files

3. In little box, click on Select Files

4. Navigate to screen shot - name appears in little box

5. Then what... ?

 

Clicking on Insert Attachment or Insert Inline gives me a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark and "Undefined"

 

Help please!

Ohh the irony! there is a bug in vb 4.02 which break attachements, 4.03 fixes it but I am just testing that version now.

I'd convinced myself it was me as I'd seen others upload images.

 

I don’t see this as one of your more urgent problems... definitely one for later. Once it’s really bugged me, I’ll make it square with more white space and then the problem will go away!

It hopefully should be fixed now and hopefully has not bugged other peoples avatar with the change.

Mine appeared to be a bit scrunched up which makes me look fatter, but that's no real problem as that is happening in real life as well....

Mine's perfect now... if it causes too many problems, I'll make mine square so others aren't distorted.
