leco Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 (edited) If a hyperlink is in the middle of the post text it is not easy to see that it's a link. Obviously the post narrative would give a clue but the link doesn't stand out like it used to. Edited April 9, 2010 by ZeroHour

leco Posted April 8, 2010 Author Posted April 8, 2010 no way to show that it's a link unless you mouse over
leco Posted April 8, 2010 Author Posted April 8, 2010 sorry no blue font on my display all the text looks the same colour
ZeroHour Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 sorry no blue font on my display all the text looks the same colour LOL the server was rolling the css updates to all the different styles, that would explain your delay in changes. I have lightend the blue and also underlined the links. Hows that? Cheers
leco Posted April 8, 2010 Author Posted April 8, 2010 Much better thanks, the text could be darker rather than lighter maybe
Gatt Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 doesn't need to be underlined all the time - so long as it stands out from the normal text
Gatt Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 try ctrl-f5 - worked for me on IE8... though preferred it when they were only underlined on hove over...
leco Posted April 8, 2010 Author Posted April 8, 2010 Ah yes that works, not sure I like it but it works so I'll leave it like that for now. Presumably Ctrl-F5 toggles to turn it off again?
Gatt Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 Ah yes that works, not sure I like it but it works so I'll leave it like that for now. Presumably Ctrl-F5 toggles to turn it off again? No CTRL-F5 forces everything to be reladed, and not to use ur temp files... @ZH - good call..
ZeroHour Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 Voting will close @ 22:30 then I will apply a colour/style. Generally you have to ctrl + f5 to get imediate changes as your browser correctly caches the css files to allow for faster loading.
ZeroHour Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 Right its a darkish blue now no underline. I cant go to dark as it will mix with the normal text on poor lcds especially. 1
