Got the Evaluation version working of Weather Station Live from our school's weather station. Have stuck it on my personal web space but will move it over to our new web site which goes live in a few weeks.

I have had lots of fun with this so may get one for myself !!

Wow, that's a busy little screen. What weather station have you got? We have a Geostation and use Weatherview but they want silly money for the update that will allow us to go live.

What impresses me is that this is the £120 one from Maplin !! [ But then add another £50 or so for the better software ]

The software which comes with it is rather pants but working alongside Weather Display & then Weather Display Live you get this great looking web page.

I'm badgering the Head of Geography to buy a Davis Vantage Pro2. No luck yet...

 

My best mate however is the IT Manager for Milford Haven Port Authority and he's got three

He's now looking to replace all three with highend kit that's approved by the Met Office, so that he can be an official weather station.

The only snag I found was getting all 3 bits of sofware to talk & work with each other.

Once you have that working it's just a case of leaving it alone - I will no doubt run into problems when I move the site over to the actual domain of the web site but I'm sure I'll get there eventually......
