Multiple Monitors Via TCP/IP

I dont even know if this is possable but...

 

Could you Extend your desktop onto another system via software? I'm sure i've read somthing on this somewhere but can't for the life of me think where.

There's Synergy, but run it over ssh because it's unencrypted by default.

Thanks for the info on synergy; Very useful but I would like to drag and drop windows accoss all systems.

 

Is this possable?
