karldenton Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 Hi, Our school has just got back from a ski trip with lots of photos and mpg videos. I have tried with Movie Maker, Pinnicle Studio, and Vista DVD Maker to make a DVD to sell onto the kids but had different problems with each one. Any others you recommend thats easy to create a nice dvd for the kids. The videos are not long, just lots of short clips. Thanks
anerney Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 I use Adobe Premiere Elements at my place. People are forever asking me to make videos for DVD for one thing or another and I find that it does the job fine. Andy
alunmjones Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 I use a Mix of Pinnicle Studio v14 and ConvertXtoDVD, were getting serif at some point, not sure how good that is at making DVD's.
tallan Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 I would recomend making the video in movie maker then use a bit of software called dvd flick (DVD Flick) this is all I use for my still any media based project we have as dvd flick cover over 150 file formats
gshaw Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 Just beat me to it... DVD Flick ftw Does all the conversion for you, drag n drop and creates the menus. Just watch out for 2 issues on a network... - restricted users can't see the DVD Drives for burning, use the workaround on the ImgBurn site to fix (GPO edit for local security settings) - if using redirected My Docs folder it tries to put the project folder in there and gives an error at first until you supply a drive letter. If you look in AppData there's a DVD Flick folder you can edit the .cfg file and change the default path. I've set a folder on C: with modify access that should do the trick
