frostbyte Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 I've been running XUbuntu for a while Dual Boot with Vista. I've since decided to remove the partition and move my Linux machine elsewhere. My problem lies in re-allocating the space. The 10GB of now Unallocated space lies to the left of my C: drive, and there seems to be no way for that C: drive to take that 10GB of space back. I cant seem to extend the Volume any more. Does anyone have any ideas/ help? Thanks in advance for your time.
SYNACK Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 Have you tried using the expand command in the diskpart.exe command line program, this is probably your best option.

pwds Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 Gparted will do this, as will Acronis. In both cases the GUI is fairly self explanatory and easy to use. Backup your system fully before attempting any partition changes.
