HP 2605N not printing Magenta

Hi all,

 

I've got 3 HP 2605N networked printers which all seem to have stopped printing Magenta. I think it has being slowly happening over time and it wasn't until I ran the supplies status page that you can see that it is hardly putting any toner on the page. Even the Yellow is more vivid.

 

Any ideas as to why this might be happening and how to fix it?

Its possible you have got a bad batch of Magentas, if not try and run a cleaning page, also check the that the toner inlet isn't block.

I've tried a few sets of toners in it with the same effect and have run the cleaning cycle.

 

Where is the toner inlet?

Its on the catridge when you pull a tag/strip out of the side to prevent toner leakage, sometimes if this is blocked it prevents the toner from transfering. its basically like leaving the strip in which gives you a blank page.
