Graphics Processor / Vendor Intel GMA 950. This has stopped me looking at any hp laptops. I've not seen a single one which doesn't have shared graphics.

GMA graphics are fine if you're not going to be gaming with it. Plus the GMA950 is adequately powerful to run Aero if that kind of thing floats your boat.

Looks a good machine there DB, I would have somthing similar to that, but with a 17" wide screen, as I cannot live without a full size keyboard any more now I have had one before.

These HP laptops really are fantastic for the price and i really believe that they will sell like hotcakes....your just getting so much performance for the money.

 

Question is are they durable.....anyone using these having any problems so far ?

I got one of those that DBs on about, talk about shat off a shovel, it installed Sophos in 10 seconds and Office 2003 Pro full install in about 2 minutes, its lightening fast! Love it, but mines better as its got 2GB ram and 120Gb of storage :p
