dsm Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 Hi everyone, I am in the process of setting up some more rigerous monitoring of our server room and network. We have a network monitoring system and we're setting up disk space monitoring etc. where problems will be e-mailed to the Network Manager's BlackBerry. The next thing I am doing is setting up a tick sheet of daily, physical checks that need to be carried out. Things such as are all the server HDD LEDs green? Server room temperature below 22 degress? That kind of thing... My question is, have you got any other suggestions that I could add to the list. Checks that you do, or think should be done, on a daily basis - excluding 'check coffee machine is working' Many thanks
