tri_94 Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 Hi there i've having major issuses with the print spooler in Windows 7. it seems every time i want to print, i have to restart the service and even then lots of times if just stops again. and its only occasionly i can get a print, most of the time i end up changing machine. please help
SYNACK Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 This is almost always outdated drivers, try updating the drivers to the latest versions on your print server and client (if mapped manually) then give it another go. I had this problem a lot in the early days of pushing Vista and it was always driver related.
FN-GM Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 As Synack says it sounds like drivers. We had problems with the HP 2600 printers causing this.
