GMail Loading

Hello

 

We have moved all our staff over to Google Apps and so far it's going great.

Only problem is sometimes when staff log in, all the buttons don't load up correctly and are mis-aligned. Everything still works, it just looks wrong. I tried refreshing the page, deleting temporary internet files and still it persists. It's random, happens to some people, some of the time on some computers.

Any suggestions?

Looks like it's to do with IE8: Buttons "Archive", "report spam" "delete" and others comes in virtical order. - Gmail Help

 

Have you tested it using a different browser but on the same computer?

We have moved our email system to Google Apps 3 years ago and it is working very smoothly since than. This problem looks like with the browser or the internet service provider.

 

You need to find out the timings when this happen like peak time (internet usage) during the day or random.

I've had something very similar due to proxy problems ...

It seems to occur with IE8 mostly - busy testing with other browsers at the moment.

Could it be something to do with the proxy server caching it incorrectly?

As other posters have said, google stuff works in IE but in my experience it always works better in other browsers particularly Firefox and Chrome.

 

Personally I recommend Firefox... I think you'll get on better with that than IE.

 

We too have had issues with the internet connection affecting google mail occasionally, if things are on the go-slow it tries to work but can't quite, and features like chat go offline - but the screen shot definitely looks more like an IE issue to me.

I get this when i install the Offline e-mail feature but only on IE8. The annoying this the offline feature doesnt work in the latest firefox.
