Logon script to change profile?

Does anyone have a script that changes a users profile on logon?

 

For example...

 

If machineOS = windows 7 then

load profile a

else

load profile b

[FN-GM]

I dont think it will be possible as the scripts load after the profile.

 

You could do something different. You could make a startup script that will detect the OS. After that it will either copy a xp or windows 7 mandatory profile from a server to the c drive. Go into AD and point all your users to the new profile location on the c drive.

 

To do the copying you can use something like robocopy that will see if you have updated the profile on the server and only copy it if required.

 

It seems an odd way but there is no reason why it cant work.
