Lifecam software install

is it possible to get the MS Lifecam software installed (just want the webcam drivers to work) before the last star exhausts its helium supply in the universe

 

if so how?

Here is a download for XP, not sure on automation or what it includes though. Which model is it?

Thats what I use - it just takes a long long time to install - literally about 30 mins - god knows what its doing

Could try extracting it with 7zip or looking in the temp folder while its running to see if you can yank the driver files out and just push them out to the windows\inf folders. I am pretty sure that MS signs their own drivers (well most of the time).

 

It'll probably be installing extra .net, visual c++ and SQL Compact to support live call, hence the delay.
